Future Occasions started after seeing brides-to-be planning their weddings during their lunch hours; running to meet vendors; the day was never long enough. They took on another full-time job with their planning.  I frequently heard complaints of exhaustion and stress associated with such a wonderful event led me to believe brides-to-be could use a wedding planner.   

 

My desire for event planning started at a prestigious public relations company in the 90ies, where I had the opportunity to work directly on media training, site openings, client appreciations, and more.  Working in the field of public relations peaked my passion for special events. 

 

In 2005, I received my bridal consultant diploma, and in 2011, I was awarded a designation of Professional Bridal Consultant from the Association of Bridal Consultants. My clients were featured on Essence Blissful Wedding, Rich Bride/Poor Bride, and WeddingsonPoint. 2012 my certificate of Achievement from Sandals. In 2015, Couples' Choice Awards from WeddingWire.

Working side-by-side with clients and hearing their beautiful stories, I am able to capture and help to define their vision. From visiting suppliers to taking them to their first bridal show, from food tasting to all the other features involved, it’s watching eyes light up and smiles appear that make me love what I do.
